Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to purchases made on this web site from Family Tent Camping.
Each order is governed by the terms and conditions current at the time the order is placed. Family Tent Camping may alter, add to or delete from these terms and conditions without notice. You are advised to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.
Orders:
All orders placed through this web site are accepted subject to confirmation by Family Tent Camping. Where the goods are either no longer available, or not currently available you will be notified by Family Tent Camping as soon as possible.
Family Tent Camping aims to display up-to-date pictures from the manufacturer of all of the goods on this web site. However, our picture of the goods may differ from the actual goods. We recommend you read the labels on the goods carefully before using the goods.
Family Tent Camping reserves the right to restrict sales to retail quantities when supplying resellers or distributors.
Delivery:
Delivery will be made to the address specified in the order on the date requested. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by Family Tent Camping to be authorised to receive the goods. If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive the order, Family Tent Camping may charge you additional delivery fees unless we were provided instructions to leave the equipment at a specific location.
Once the goods are delivered to you, or an authorised representative, you will own them and it is your responsibility if they become lost or damaged.
If the goods were not paid for through the web site and no-one is at home to pay for the shipment, under no circumstances will the goods be left. Family Tent Camping may charge you additional delivery fees for subsequent delivery.
Complaints must be made, within 4 business days of delivery, to the Family Tent Camping head office, either by telephone, email or fax.

Payment:

Payment may be made through the payment section of this web site, or at the time of emonstration for customers within the Family Tent Camping shop. Methods of payment acceptable before delivery are restricted to:
Credit Card payment through Visa, Discover,Mastercard, Amex
Bank Check payable to Family Tent Camping
Payment upon delivery is not available at this time for customers outside of online purchase (unless prior arrangements are made for pick up).
Returns & Refunds

At Family Tent Camping we are committed to the total satisfaction of your purchase.

What if my purchase is damaged or defective?

Family Tent Camping holds the highest standards of quality control, all our products are warranted by the manufacturer. If by chance you receive a product that is damaged or defective please contact us within 3 days of delivery for a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#) and return instructions. (If product is damaged due to shipping please contact us immediately). All items must have an RMA# to be accepted for warranty coverage, and must be complete in original factory packaging. All product replacements or repairs will be done at the discretion of Family Tent Camping. Damaged merchandise must be returned within 10 days of being contacted with the Return Merchandise Authorization number. Once the item is received you will be reimbursed the return shipping cost of the item and insurance.

Return of damaged item without a replacement:

If the customer chooses not to receive a replacement or exchange for the damaged item, the above guidelines still apply (please read above and below carefully). The customer will be reimbursed the return shipping charges and insurance after the item has been received and inspected. The original purchase price will be reimbursed less 8% for processing fees, and the original shipping cost.

Back orders:

If a delay or back order occurs you will be notified within 1-3 business days via e-mail. Occasionally a back order is needed and can take as much as 3 - 4 weeks to fulfill. You may contact us to verify shipping estimated time of arrival before ordering if you wish. If your item is back ordered you may choose another item and the difference will be added or credited to your method of payment, or you may request an exchange or full refund if notified 7 days of backorder status notification.

Reason for requesting a return:

We will respond to your return request within 3 business days. You will be issued an RMA # and instructions on returning your item. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Items received without an RMA number will not be accepted. In turn, Ship the item back within 3 business days after receiving an email confirmation.

The item must be returned in its original packaging, insured for its purchased price, and must be received in “resalable” and packed in NEW condition as when it was shipped to you with all original materials, instructions and packing. No credit will be given for damaged or used returns.

We recommend you use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt.

You are responsible for return shipping and insurance.

After we have received and verified the returned item is as originally sent, we will issue a refund for the purchase price, less the shipping and 15% restocking fee , within 7 business days. This policy applies to all products, including items that are featured with free shipping promotions. Items purchased originally with Free Shipping will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund.

Cancellation:

If buyer chooses to cancel order after item has been shipped, there will be an 8% restocking fee and shipping cost witheld from refund.

If buyer does not contact us prior ordering by 1, 2 or 3 day shipment and if NOT available, Customer will be responsible for 8% processing fee.

No REFUNDS or EXCHANGES will be granted after item has been used. With exception to WARRANTY ISSUES(which requires an RMA #)

No REFUNDS or EXCHANGES will be issued after 30 days of item shipment (as outlined above), with the exception of manufacturers warranty claims.

Liability:

Any liability of Family Tent Camping in connection with goods or services supplied to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of Family Tent Camping be limited to:

i. in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and

ii. in relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Applicable Law:

All purchases under this web site and these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of United States of America.
